What is Fond?
A place to keep the food you cook, share what you make, and find the people cooking around you. Food worth remembering.
Who is Fond for?
Home cooks first. People who already photograph what they make and want a place for those photos to live. It also works for food you have eaten out -- the gesture is the same.
Is Fond free?
Yes. There may be paid features later, but the core experience -- posting, browsing, following -- is free.
Is Fond on Android?
Not yet. Fond is iPhone-only at launch. Android is coming later.
How does Fond identify the food in my photo?
When you post a photo, Fond uses image recognition to suggest a name and place. You can edit either before publishing. The goal is fewer taps, not less control.
Can I make my account private?
Yes. Your account can be public -- discoverable by anyone -- or private, where only people you approve can see your posts. You can change this anytime in settings.
Who sees my food?
If your account is public, anyone using Fond -- and anyone with a link. If your account is private, only your approved followers.
Can I post food I ate at a restaurant?
Yes. Fond works the same way for restaurants, bars, food trucks, markets, and events as it does for home kitchens.
What happens to my photos?
They stay yours. Fond stores them so we can show them to you and to people you allow. We do not sell them, license them, or use them to train models.
Can I delete a post?
Yes. Any post can be deleted from inside the app at any time.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Account deletion is available in settings and removes all your posts, photos, and profile data.
How do I get in touch?
